When purchasing a SIM + plan Lyca Boss 50GB online, you enjoy 50GB of data and unlimited calls and sms. The plan is valid for 30 days from the date of activation. Price discount is valid for 3 months (purchase + 2 renewals). Any other usage not included in the plan will be charged at a standard rate and needs balance. Purchase of the plan and its monthly renewals can be made via our website and app only through credit/debit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.


Data not used by the end of the 30-day period shall accumulate for the following month, if the bundle is renewed. Accumulated data will be used in the following month only after the total data allocation for that month has been exhausted. Data carried over from the preceding month is strictly valid for the next 30 days.

Roaming

As of 1 January 2026, all customers get 11 GB to roam in all EU/EEA/UK/Ukraine and Moldova with this plan. The bundle can be used in EU/EEA countries and also in UK, Ukraine and Moldova.If over a 4-month period, the use of services is bigger than the domestic usage we will notify the customer and then charge the national PAYG rates.
Non-EU countries calls will be charged at standard roaming charges. EU/EEA roaming services are enabled for customers who travel for holidays or short trips and note that the SIM card must be first used (and activated) in the home country in order to use this promotion. When roaming data ends, customer will be charged 0.0036€/MB until bundle data runs out or bundle validity expires, and after that PAYG rate of 0.0036€/MB is applied.

Internet Speed

Estimated maximum speed is the maximum estimated data transfer speed. It represents the data transmission rate that an end user may experience under real conditions. This speed is specified by type of network technologies.

Maximum speed estimation for each technology:

Download speed (download): 5G – 150Mbps; 50 Mbps (4G)

Upload speed (upload): 5G – 25Mbps; 10 Mbps (4G)

We are not just a cheap international call operator – we also provide cheap national calls and texts and also data. Save on calls, texts and data with our plans! Using a plan is more beneficial than using standard rates.

A prepaid plan is an arrangement whereby credit and associated benefits are purchased prior to using the service, as opposed to postpaid plans where a contract is entered into with a carrier and services are billed at the end of each month, through of an invoice.

With a prepaid plan, you not only avoid unexpected expenses, but also enjoy the freedom to change plans according to your consumption. Free of contracts and loyalty periods, a prepaid plan always ensures greater control of your money, with no exceptions and no small print that tie you to a loyalty period.

As from 01.06.2026, any data you do not use will roll over to the following month, provided your monthly plan is renewed. For example: if at the end of your 50GB plan validity you have 10GB left over, you will be able to use those 10GB the following month after you have used up your new 50GB.


Rollover data is always valid for one month (meaning it does not roll over to a third month). If you change plan, you will lose any data you would have accumulated from the previous plan, but the same logic will now apply to the new plan – you roll over what you didn't use into the next month. To ensure you don't lose any rolled-over data from your plan, we recommend keeping auto-renewal turned on. This logic does not apply to the Lyca Flex weekly plan – it is applicable only to monthly plans.

If you are already a customer, type *139*plan code# (for example: *139*51003# to activate Lyca Nacional M) to activate a plan.

If you don’t have enough balance to purchase the plan, you will be asked to top up and try again.

Shortly after purchasing a plan, you will receive a message confirming that the plan has been applied to your account. You must wait for this message before using your plan.

Auto-Renewal: Your plan is automatically set to auto-renew when it expires. If you keep auto-renewal turned on, it means that you want to continue using the same plan and the plan amount will be charged monthly through the associated payment method (debit or credit card).

Canceling auto-renewal: To cancel auto-renewal-

Call Customer Support on 1632 via your Lyca (free call) or 26 500 16 32 via another phone (fees will apply) before the end of the plan’s validity date.

Plan terms & conditions

Lyca Nacional M (for 1, 3, 6 and 12 months), Lyca Nacional XS (for 1, 3, 6 and 12 months), Lyca Flex, Lyca Nacional 25GB, Lyca Nacional 10GB and Lyca Nacional 5GB are exclusively national plans for using data, making national calls and sending national texts in and to the Portuguese territory.

Lyca Nacional 25GB, Lyca Nacional 10GB and Lyca Nacional 5GB plans are only intended for new customers (new SIM cards purchased online) and cannot be topped up by existing customers.

All national plans are valid for 30 days (including the day of activation), except Lyca Flex plan which is valid for 7 days. Each plan can be purchased using existing balance, so we advise customers to keep the amount necessary to purchase the plan in their account before the expiration date. If auto-renewal is activated, the plan amount will be charged automatically through the payment method associated with the account (debit or credit card). Customers can purchase 4 plans at the same time but can only activate one plan at a time. All plans will auto-renew on the expiry date, so customers must maintain the balance required to auto-renew the plan, unless they cancel the plan by simply dialing *190# or by calling Customer Service through 1632. Any calls, SMS or data used after the plan expires will be charged at standard rates.

National plans do not include international calls and texts, calls to short numbers, calls and texts to premium or premium numbers. Minutes or SMS not used within the validity of the national plans will not be carried over to the following month.
